where should I start in order to create a TD?

Hi,
I tried to use WorldEditor a few times and i found it quite interesting now i was thinking about creating a tower defence map(i know how to use unit editor and stuff i just don't know how to use triggers) so if anyone could tell how to use triggers in order to create a TD would be greatly appreciated i tried reading in trigger basics TD basics and i only found for instance Your tower defence does not necesseraly has to be popular.
So thanks for any help
P.S. it should be veeery basics.
P.S.S. i need triggers for initializatios or whatever

Also remember that a good TD map has always one leaderboard or one multiboard :thup:
