Banana Bread
An easy and delicious recipe for the holidays or any time! Make sure to use extra ripe bananas to make it the best!
Ingredients:
- 8 Tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 bananas - EXTRA RIPE
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 and 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/3 cups walnuts
- One 9 1/2 x 5 loaf pan OR three 6 x 3 1/2 mini-loaf pans
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cream together the butter and the sugar
- Beat the eggs and stir into the mixture
- Mash the peeled bananas and stir into the mixture
- Mix in the salt and baking soda
- Slowly mix in the flour and get out the lumps
- Fold the walnuts into the mixture
- Grease a loaf pan
- Pour mixture into loaf pan(s)
- Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes
- Makes one 9 1/2 x 5 loaf OR three 6 x 3 1/2 mini-loaves
- Use extra Ripe Bananas in this recipe to make it the best!
