Maths is a huge GCSE. When exam time comes, you'll be struggling to remember it all.

We've got 3 modules:
- Handling Data
- Shape, Space and Measure
- Numbers (Algebra)

Though, ICT was compulsory for us, so that could be the reason. =)
Geography, Triple Science and Business Studies.
I know, they're quite random.
Most of the subjects I would've wanted are compulsory anyways.
