Autocast spells

Can you not trigger an action through autocast spells?

I am trying to create a spell based on frost arrows that creates nova (or any other effect) along the path of the arrow. The spell works fine, but only triggers when you click the spell and not when you just use frost arrows on autocast... is there any way around this?

Yes. Detect the order-string for activating autocast, store this as a boolean value in an array, index = GetHandleId(u). Now detect an attack.

Problem: Spamming stop does work - to prevent this you have to trigger all your projectiles (If I'm not wrong).

Read up on it a little and it seems that since Im basing it off frost arrows, just creating a custom buff and then detecting that buff would be the easiest solution.

But this will just say: "There was a unit hit by a frost arrow" - you can not trigger your novas while the projectile is in flight.

You need to create the projectile by yourself.
