BTW: I would like to have a translated version of my map once it is finished. Send me your e-mail address if you are interested. You'll get an unprotected version that states "Chinese localisation by ###" when it is finished then and you will be added to the BsArc mailing list. Requirement: Knowing how strings in vJASS look like, and being able to translate them.

PS: If any korean player reads this: Korean localisation would be awesome, too.

You wrote that in your "location". Btw, you don't need to be logged in as theBOMB001 in order to log in. Just use the connect XYZ routine and it'll work anyway.

Leaderboard is good for now and everything is working fine. The reaction time between the upgrading and taking off the stats of the item is about 3 seconds and while you upgrade your weapon, it still attacks. 1 more thing: Pirate haven should be changed, (which obviously you will do )

Well, the pirate haven is actually a neutral one. Pirate haven will be implemented, too, spawning ships that attack the right lane in order to give a small exp and gold bonus to the team controlling the right lane while making it harder to control it for long (and making it harder for traders going to the "Free Harbour", obviously).

Thank you really much for the two upgrade notifications, while the 3 seconds are planned, the weapon attack is not. I will plant a "call PausePlayerWeapons( trigPlayer, true )" into the upgrading (and a 'false' into the finishing of the last upgrade)!

The leaderboard will be changed in a way that it displays player ids, making chat messages easier. Also, the layout will be changed.
Note that you'll be able to switch between balance and stats leaderboard via chat commands soon.

Hmh, I know. Changing that would require me to change a few different things, too... Perhaps I'll fix it lateron. Perhaps not. Depends on wether I'll need the capital detection for other features or not, and on how easy it is to change this thing. If you don't see it in the next version, you'll most probably see it never

I have a idea, you can customize the spawns. You can either add a ship to the spawn or decrease it. The max is 15 places per spawn.

While the idea as such is a nice one, it is quite imbalanced and wouldn't be easy to manage via the Warcraft GUI. Additionally it would seriously delay this map's finishing.
Even if we'ld balance it out ( using gold cost instead of places ), it would not increase fun so much - I bet none of the casual players would use it. If you want to customize your spawn, you can always buy creeps on your own

hey there everyone

ive been away all summer break so im a bit behind

have you balanced the bought summons yet?

when i last played summons were way op at the start of the game
if you bought only bombadiers with your staring gold the other ships are good as dead and by microing you could completley decimate the other players without even risking your ship

Starting gold has been reduced to 700, hence not much danger from buying creeps at the beginning anymore. Also, their starting power has been reduced by 33,4% in both damage and hp a few versions before, while the upgrades give now a 15% bonus instead of a 10% one in order to give the same total amount ( 0.666... * 1.5 = 1 ) per upgrade.

Once I get back on my biggie (currently on my notebook), you will get your new betatester password. Login is still the same as before.
