Beamer image is not quite good

Hi,

I have a problem with my projector. Not sure how to describe it so I'm just gonna try something

The image is clear, nothing wrong with sharpness or whatever, but for some reason it looks like there are lines going through the image. a bit like if the frames per second were too low.

I always thought it was the lamp, but as you might know those things are insanely expensive and I really want to be sure that there's no other way of fixing this.

well.. about 2 years now i think
lamp timer stands on 741 hours

It's either going bad, wrong resolution, or you may need a bulb replacment.
I don't have a ton of experience with projectors, but those seem like the obvious solutions.

Try changing the refresh rate.

Did you try Sony tech support?

Doesn't look like anyone here knows much about projectors...

try the the lines (forgot the name, sorry. It should be something like kapot......)
It might be the connection problem, or clean the area near the light bulb (or lamp)
Still, I don't have that much or experience on the projectors, the only thing I know about it, is to clean it oftenly.
