Here's the problem: I am having trouble locking the camera onto each player's respective unit. Its like a hero arena except the player's camera is locked onto their hero.
How are you having trouble?
I would add the heroes to an UnitArray
then do Pick Every Player in (YourPlayerGroup)
Camera - Follow UnitGroup(Unit: UnitArray[Picked Player] for (Picked Player)
That would work if I had more than one hero type. I want to give every player the same hero. I have the cameralock working for 1 single player with this trigger:
Event
Every 0.01 seconds of Real Time
Actions
Camera - Apply Player 1 for player 1 over 0.5 seconds with Existing Velocity% initial velocity, 50% deceleration, and Include Target
Camera - Lock camera input for player 1
Region - Attach Player 1 to Viking (Assault Mode) [44.11, 45.36] with offset (Point(0.0, 0.0))
Camera - Set Player 1 target to (Center of Player 1)
Camera - Set Player 1 Distance to 25.0
Camera - Set Player 1 Angle Of Attack to 75.0
I need to branch this trigger out for all players.
Would I have to use an integer array aswell? I'm having more trouble figuring out how to pair the spawned vikings with the players/cameras/regions arrays
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them. And I'm taking that as a victory
