Can you disable leveling up effect?

Is it possible to disable the level up effect from displaying when a hero levels up?
Would it be in game constants or something, where it can be set to false?

I know if you trigger it then you can disable it... but if you're using taverns you may have to live with it.... It might be in gameplay constants.

It is not in gameplay constants. I don't believe there is any way to get rid of the leveling effect without triggering.

yes you can..

search for the 'level up' ability (i forgot the exact name).

it's under the 'special' tab in the object editor abilities.
remove/change the model there.

just checked WE:

Go to Standard Abilities > Special > Units.

you should find an ability named 'Hero'

it has a question mark as an icon (?).

modify the Art - Caster field to the one you wish.
i.e. delete/replace the model.
