Encrypting on vista

I'm trying to encrypt a folder that i have on windows vista, but when i go to properties>general>advanced; the "Encrypt contents to secure data" option is grayed out and unselectable.
How can i make that important option enabled?

Where is the file located?

Depends on your version of Vista. You need Business, Enterprise or Ultimate. It's not a feature in the Home Basic or Home Premium version.

The drive must also be formatted using NTFS.

You also need to make sure your user account has a password set on it.

I guess that explains it, i have home premium. T_T

Have a look at Truecrypt. It doesn't integrate with Windows' security (which is good or bad depending on what ownloadsyou want) but has some other features. http://www.truecrypt.org
