Making a map larger
1. Okay, Is there some/any way to "Enlarge" or give the feeling that a map is "Enlarged"? Like, for example, on RPG's, the map seems HUGEE, I don't know if thats cause your using a single unit, or if its zoomed, or what, but they seem huge! If it is possible to make a map bigger than the largest size in the editor, how?

1.
You can zoom in, and make every unit smaller... Scaling value...
Or you can get WEU (world editor unlimitied) and make a larger size.

2
Scenario > Force Properties > its one of the two Check buttons to the left in that window that pops up.. The name? ehm Fixer Players Settings? or so..

3
Code:
Melee Initialization
    Events
Time - Every 45.00 seconds of game time
    Conditions
    Actions
Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Units in (Playable map area) matching ((Unit-type of (Matching unit)) Equal to Footman)) and do (Actions)
            Loop - Actions
Player - Add 25 to (Owner of (Picked unit)) Current gold
+-, footman = your Gold buidligns

4
ehm..
Code:
    Events
Player - Player 1 (Red) types a chat message containing -setname as A substring
Player - Player 2 (Blue) types a chat message containing -setname as A substring
       etc...
    Conditions
    Actions
Player - Set name of (Triggering player) to (Substring((Entered chat string), 10, 30))

1. Basically all enchanted editors allow you to make maps bigger. To tell if they are using an effect of making everything smaller, look at a cliff.

2. I don't know what action you are talking about(I'll look into it), but I believe you can enable it in the Player Properties thing.

3. Erm, don't have editor up.

4. Player One enters a string containing <-name> as A substring.
Set Player Name to Substring (7, 25)

Don't have WE up, so that is all I can tell you.

To solve ur # 2 problem just use the action :
Game - Set lock alliance settings to (On/Off)

for you it should be off

If i understand you correctly you want the ability for players to choose alliances using the game interface. If i do then this will work (I had the same problem).

Oh, BTW its under Game - Set Map Flag but u change it to "lock alliance settings...."

Instead of putting:
(Substring((Entered chat string), 10, 30)), Do:
(Substring((Entered chat string), 10, (Length of (Entered Chat String))))
Not a particularly huge difference, but sometimes it matters.

It will only accept a certain length of a name as Player Name anyways, I mostly just said that to let people know it is there, since it is more efficient under some circumstances.
