Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:6F4728B0
The instruction at '0x6F4728B0' referenced memory at '0x00000030'.
The memory could not be 'read'.

One things for sure, it isn't my ram, as every other map I play doesn't crash. So it's a programming error. The major problem is, it could be anywhere, so it's kinda pointless posting my triggers.

I've uploaded the map, on the off chance someone might take a look. And see if they can find it.

A little bit about the map. Ability Viewer.

It's basically a tool that allows you to view all the abilities in the game with lots of cool options.

EDIT: It's worth mentioning the Error ONLY happens when playing about with Mr Abilitys abilities.

Out of all my triggers. I've narrowed it down to these.

Trigger:
  • Actions
    • Set iInteger = (iInteger + 1)
    • Set aAbility[iInteger] = Acid Bomb
    • Set iInteger = (iInteger + 1)
    • Set aAbility[iInteger] = Animate Dead
    • Set iInteger = (iInteger + 1)
    • Set aAbility[iInteger] = Attribute Bonus
    • Set iInteger = (iInteger + 1)
    • Set aAbility[iInteger] = Avatar
    • Set iInteger = (iInteger + 1)
    • THIS GOES ON FOR QUITE SOME TIME!!!!!! (So to save forum space, I edited it out!)
    • Set aAbility[iInteger] = Wind Walk
    • Set iInteger = (iInteger + 1)

Sorry about the above trigger, the error isn't here. But I felt it was necessary to post.

This is the most likely cause... I think
Trigger:
  • Switch
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit owned by Player 1 (Red) Begins casting an ability
    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to |cff00FF00Change Ability|r
    • Actions
      • Set TempPoint = (Position of uMrAbility)
      • Set rFacing = (Facing of uMrAbility)
      • Unit - Remove uMrAbility from the game
      • Unit - Create 1 Mr Ability for Player 1 (Red) at TempPoint facing rFacing degrees
      • Custom script: call RemoveLocation( udg_TempPoint)
      • Set uMrAbility = (Last created unit)
      • Hero - Set uMrAbility Hero-level to 20, Hide level-up graphics
      • Unit - Add |cff00FF00Change Ability|r to uMrAbility
      • Unit - Set level of |cff00FF00Change Ability|r for uMrAbility to 1
      • Selection - Select uMrAbility for Player 1 (Red)
      • -------- Ability 1 --------
      • Set iAbility = (iAbility + 1)
      • If (iAbility Equal to iInteger) then do (Set iAbility = 1) else do (Do nothing)
      • Unit - Add aAbility[iAbility] to uMrAbility
      • Unit - Set level of aAbility[iAbility] for uMrAbility to 10
      • -------- Ability 2 --------
      • Set iAbility = (iAbility + 1)
      • If (iAbility Equal to iInteger) then do (Set iAbility = 1) else do (Do nothing)
      • Unit - Add aAbility[iAbility] to uMrAbility
      • Unit - Set level of aAbility[iAbility] for uMrAbility to 10
      • -------- Ability 3 --------
      • Set iAbility = (iAbility + 1)
      • If (iAbility Equal to iInteger) then do (Set iAbility = 1) else do (Do nothing)
      • Unit - Add aAbility[iAbility] to uMrAbility
      • Unit - Set level of aAbility[iAbility] for uMrAbility to 10
      • -------- Ability 4 --------
      • Set iAbility = (iAbility + 1)
      • If (iAbility Equal to iInteger) then do (Set iAbility = 1) else do (Do nothing)
      • Unit - Add aAbility[iAbility] to uMrAbility
      • Unit - Set level of aAbility[iAbility] for uMrAbility to 10

The error mainly happens when casting any ability. Very random. It can happen mid ability too. It never happens when switching between abilitys (the above trigger) but something is wrong somewhere...

I dont think the error is from either of these. If it happens when any spell is cast you would have to look at all your spell triggers. This one looks fine IMO. unless your spells don't have 10 levels I don't see a problem

I don't think ANY spell has 10 levels as they are all default spells. AFAIK World Edit will just set the ability to the highest level possible.

I didn't think posting triggers would help my cause which is why I posted the map. Because there's far too many places the error could be. But it was over 48 hours and no reply. So I needed an excuse to bump the topic.:(

Have you tried setting spell levels to 3 instead? IDK if it will do anything but worth a try

try these out :

on your 2nd trigger, try display message with follow information :
- Ability
- name of each aAbility[iAbility]

I though you should set iAbility =0 & iInteger =0 on start ? depend on how you use it
