I found a "maths" tutorial about angles...etc but i did not understand a bit. i am doing a spell which has a projectile thrown out "fly" in the air and land on the ground." :nuts: Just to be straight, how do i know what value to change in the height and rate to make it look like the arrow flung to the sky and land on the ground like you are throwing something and it lands :confused:
Trigger:
  • Animation - Change (Triggering unit) flying height to (Height) at (Rate)
If you don't understand what i am saying ,never-mind... Because my English standard makes people laugh.

Check out Grenade in this.

It has arc formula and the height is adjustable. You probably just need to change the projectile model.

The formula is basically a quadratic equation. Say if there are 50 instances (n=50), then:

Height = 625 - (X-25)^2

Note that 625 is the maximum height. It's the square of 25. The 25 is half of n.

So if n=30, the formula will look like:
Height = 225 - (X-15)^2

Just use your imagination. Or just copy the map.
