Free Video Editor

Hello, it's been a while I'm away from here.

Now I have some issues with my windows movie maker.
Hmm, it is not some major issue but it just annoyed me as I'm facing difficulties on editing MOD file. Which they are recorded down by my cam.

So I wonder is there any other free video editing program out there?
It should include those special effects such as in WMM.

The fact is, there are not "very good" free video editing programs, just try free trials..

Even there is an awesome audio editer (Audacity), there isn't any free and satisfying video editor?

Where money is a crisis, I doubt there would be anything free. Even those that have bad quality need payment..

AVIsynth (script driven non-linear video editor)
Virtualdub (open-source, free, may fit simple editing needs)

Doesn't suit me, I hate scripting, I'm a noobie.

Either way, keygens are illegal, if he/she wants Sony Vegas, he /she should pay for it.
