A TWO-year-old girl was thrown to her death from a moving train after an argument between passengers in India.
Four men approached a couple with the child on a train as it travelled through the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, a railway police official.
"They sought to forcibly share a berth already occupied by the victim Nisha, her father Ram Kishore and mother Phool Kumari, who resisted the attempt," said police official Nirmal Singh.
"According to the report lodged with us, the group of four men got violent and started assaulting the parents."
