Google Chrome not working correctly - getting a black screen

Problem: Every once in a while, Chrome will go black, as if it can't display the webpage at all. This happens on various websites, it has happened on YouTube, TurboTax, among others.

It started happening a couple of weeks ago, just out of the blue. As far as I know, I did not make any changes to Chrome.

Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Have you tried reinstalling Chrome?

Okay that seemed to work, we'll see how it goes.
