Hero respawn --> Exp penalty?

Im making an RPG in which when you die, you respawn 5 seconds later, but you get a exp penalty of your current level exp /3 but it doesn't seem to be working, any help?

You can't reduce a hero's experience in a convinient way. You could, however, reduce the amount of experience (s)he gains for a while.

the orpg's usually don't save the exp for the level, just the level. so maybe there's a walkaround? the new TBR is going to save exp though, so there should be a way?

        Unit - A unit Dies
    Conditions
        ((Triggering unit) is A Hero) Equal to True
    Actions
        Hero - Add (0 - ((Hero level of (Triggering unit)) x 2)) experience to (Triggering unit), Show level-up graphics

Replace the (0 - ((Hero level of (Triggering unit)) x 2)) experience to (Triggering unit) with your own formula.

Basically that will reduce the heroes EXP by 2 x his level.
