Hot to make minus (-) value on ablities ?

I have problem with for example make Presence of the Dark Lord (dota: Shadow Fiend's aura). How to make -1 or -2 value on ability: Devotion Aura (or other). Please answer me.

File -> Preferences -> Allow Negative Real Values in Object Editor

That should allow you to enter negatives.

The 'W' key is quite far from the 'T' and yet many people do it, including me.

And to enter a negative value when you're in the OE about to edit the file...
Hold shift, THEN double click, then enter your value and press ok.
If you want to edit it again after that you have to hold shift again then double click too.

Step One

Step Two

Hold the Shift Button

Step Three

Double-Click the field you want to edit

Step Four

Once done, click Ok

Now your done, wasn't that easy ^^

The last two posts were so unneccessary.

A.) There is no need to hold the Shift key to enter negative values. It is only when you are trying to get past hardcoded limits that that is necessary. Also... use of the shift key by people who don't understand why there are hardcoded limits in the game, is likely to cause crashes. (Like when a chain lighning is set to 50 bounces)

B.) The only thing he needed to do was explained really simply in the first post.

You can also enter Negative values by holding Shift, but of course, the easiest way is explained in Post #2.
