How to increase taverns buying range

I nid help on how to increase the buying range of the tavern.I tried increasing the sight range of the tavern but it didnt work.

I think the select hero ability has the option to increase the range, try increasing that ^^

I made a custom ability off of "Select Unit". Increased its range to whatever I wanted, then gave that custom ability to the tavern. Works great for me.

Object Editor > Abilities > Special > Units > "Select Unit"

The field you're aiming for is "Data - Activation Radius". Just change that to whatever range you want.

I would suggest you make a custom copy of the ability and change that one, so that you don't screw up all of the default neutral buildings.
