How to open/run a .jar file?

Hello.

Got a program from my friend, basically making WoW look different(UI Changer Program)

It's in .jar extension. And I dont know how to run this file. I got Java installed, as I read on Google that I had to install.

Can I have some help?

If you have JRE (Java Runtime Environment) installed, then you should be able to just run it, like an exe.

Alternatively, from command line:

java -jar filename.jar

I think Java should be in your environmental variables (if you're on Windows), it's been a while since I used java on it, though.

Thanks. I found out soon after that a program disabled the opening of a jar file(Noika Ovi Suite), which instead of starting the actual program, it did start the Nokia file.
