Human Priest - Dispel

When ordering a unit to cast dispel, it comes up as "targeting a unit", however the spell is an area target. When canting to cast dispel in an area, how do I order this.

Create a dummy at the area and order it to cast dispell on the dummy.

I think that even if you order him to cast it on a target the dispell effect will be AoE.
