Hi people,

It was a while since I last posted, but I have come up with a problem and I can't find anything to fix it :(

I am getting BSODs (BlueScreens Of Death) that is pointing towards a file by the name of "ati3duag.DLL".
It has only happened so far when I play Age of Empires 3 and Torchlight, and it is really bugging me because I really want to finish both of them:(

I got theses specs:

Motherboard: Asrock K7NF2-RAID
Processor: AMD athlon xp 2600+
Ram: 2x 1GB Corsair pc3200 Value Select
Graphics: ATI Powercolor HD2400 Pro 256MB 64bit DDR2 AGP
OS: Windows XP

I have had a series of crashes and fixed most of them, but this one I can't figure out at all.

I have done these changes lately to try to stop them:
1. Removed the asrock IDE drivers and installed the windows ones.
2. I am running Omega Drivers for the graphics card.
3. Reinstalled my C-Media(onboard audio) drivers.

I have read somewhere that it might be mixer.DLL that causes the problems since it is seemingly sound related. Either that or it has to do with anti aliasing which I always have turned of if possible.

I got these questions:
1. This would be the best to answer. How do i solve this for good?
2. How do I turn off the built in windows mixer aka "Mixer.DLL"?

Thanks in advance and I sure hope that we can solve this one together, I am so sick of cooping with BSODs :(

ati3duag.dll is your video driver! something is wrong with that file, try uninstalling all your video drivers and reinstalling it from the version provided to you, and then upgrading if any upgrades are available!

That version of the drivers does not work at all, it makes even more of my games crash:( I got an ATI AGP card and have tried 6 different drivers and omega has turned out to be the most stable one so far.
I am fully aware that the file is a driver for my graphicscard.
I am under the belief that this file has to do with the HD audio that I am not using at all.

I have downloaded a version of ati3duag.dll from some page that I am going to try out later today, but I am almost certain that it will not do any good to replace it.

Yup, that is where I got the idea that it could be the sound card.

Damn, I just noticed that there was more than one page to that thread:eek:
I am going to read it thru and see what I come up with^^

Edit: I am going to try those updates mentioned in that thread, but first I have to format my comp(it is about time) just in case of any wrong drivers and such^^
