Item that deals "magic" type of damage

Hi, I'm trying to make items that don't cause +damage only but deals a different attack type of damage; tried with triggers but i don't know if it works for every attack or at all to be frank :(

Code:
Attack type Weapons
    Events
        Unit - A unit Is attacked
    Conditions
        ((Attacking unit) has an item of type Magic Damage Item) Equal to True
    Actions
        Unit - Cause (Attacking unit) to damage (Attacked unit), dealing 7.00 damage of attack type Magic and damage type Fire

please find any sort of solution :eek:

This would add 7 magic damage everytime your unit even attempts to attack, no matter if the attack is successful or not. If that is what you want, it should work, to test it you could make the trigger display a game text or something like that, to see if it does something...

Did a Debug test, it works just fine ;) forgot to temper with target units armor, but when i reset it to 0 the damage dealt were the awnser i longed for ^^

thanks for the help :D
