JassHelper problems

Everytime I save my map and there's an error somewhere in my code, JassHelper says something like "Found errors, please wait" then freezes.

Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?

In the main editor window, go to Jasshelper -> Show Previous Errors.
Fix whatever errors are shown there, and save again.

If this happens every time you have errors in your code, then you could try updating your Jasshelper.

Yes, it does that every time there's an error in my code.

However, I don't know how to update jasshelper.

Could you help me out on that?
I don't really feel like downloading NewGen again but if I have to I guess I could. Or perhaps I could retrieve only the files related to jasshelper from the newgen .zip file?


As for Show Previous Errors, thanks, it works.

Download the newest JassHelper from this thread. Replace the files in the 'jasshelper' directory of your newgen folder with the ones extracted from the file you downloaded. The Jass Newgen Pack contains an outdated Jasshelper, as JassHelper is updated more frequently than JNGP.

Okay, just downloaded that version of jasshelper and put everything in it into my jasshelper folder, and it still doesnt work.

Any other ideas?
