Ayumi, in your tutorial step #13 states that when you edit the spell data list, the spells will appear in game in-order by the way you list them from top to bottom. This is simply not so - unless there are some other steps involved here that you are not listing.

I wish this worked, but I can't find any way to control the order of spells by just ordering them in the spell book data list.

It seems the only way is to add them in order in-game.

EDIT: Ok breakthrough here! As long as you put the "Data - Minimum Spells" equal to the amount of spells you have in your data list, they *will* sort from top to bottom! If you leave the Minimum Spells at 1 (how I previously had it) they will *not* sort properly.

(You may want to note this in your tut)

which part you don't understand? hehehe i can clarify

it works for me o.o

edit - you will need to use another dummy ability to fill up the blankspace
in order to make the spell place in the other positions.

Maybe if you took all the posts and pieces together and put into one big post (preferably the first one) it would be easier to read.

i am planning to keep it separate for the time being, because
i wanna expand the tutorial.

and expanding tutorial = editting the thread, and its really difficult to
edit with all those cluttered information around.

i'll combine them when there are very minor edits, not much expansion.

and sometimes, i would need to keep it on separate post become 1 post
can only have 30 images.

I actually read and sucessfully used your Tutorial, Ayumi. ^^
It's good. And even I, after a while , understood how to get it right.
There's one thing, though.
If you have spell, such as Burrow or Crow form, which changes the Unit into another unit (Burrowed/Flying), the spellbook thing will mess up.
Maybe you should add that somewhere.
What I did was to give a Hero a hidden spellbook and then run his 'Burrow' skill. Then the spellbook disappeared and I couldn't get it back no matter what.

Either it takes a lot of triggering and complicated stuff. Or .. Don't do it. ^^
