My friend's brother got a ton of them and he offered me one and i was going to eat it until he said that the first time you do them you could die......... I was reading on the internet and I guess they make you see stuff. I also read that it has caused people to go to the hospital and even die because they didn't feel the effects and did more.

I was hoping someone has done them and could tell me, IDK if this is an appropriate thing to ask or not but they are legal so I figured I'd give it a shot.

So my question is can I eat half a one and not die or go to the hospital?

What didn't you understand? I guess I'll try to explain this better.

There's this plant, you take apart the shell and eat the seeds, and it makes you see stuff that isn't really there and makes your vision blurry etc.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these.

It goes by other names. I will highlight the following part: "All parts of Datura plants contain dangerous levels of poison and may be fatal if ingested by humans or animals, including livestock and pets."

So my recommendation? Avoid.
