Update:

The information I got from the conference I confirms the following:

• 2 weeks of physical training.
• I'm a substitute, not an actual private soldier. (Pronounced as SOLD-JER?)
• There will be a written examination test on August 19th. This test will determine what department I will be sent to.
• For 12 months, I will receive a paycheck of 4000NTD ~ 6000NTD per month.
• I can bring my smartphone with me, however I don't have unlimited data plan anymore. My smartphone is to be taken care of by the Storage Management Facility.
• The only physical training available is Running. No guns, no swimming exercises, no military combat, etc.
• When we're studying for the written exam, we get to stay indoors in an air-conditioned classroom.
• After August 19th, I will be sent to the department of my choice, and will continue to serve/work there for the remaining session.

This is as far as I know.

Basically, you can eat a full month of bentos with 7 ~ 9 servings left.
