Need Help with monitor

Hello, my monitor shows horizontal static with dark colors. (The static looks like horizontal bars in a brighter color of random thickness and position, They cover about 50% of my monitor).

Anyone knows how this is possible and if its solvable? Thanks!

It could be the graphics card not the monitor.. If you have another monitor somewhere, try swiching it onto it, if it does it on the other monitor, its probably not the monitors fualt..

I tried, but the other monitor seems to work fine.

Try.....

If you have any speakers take them away from the computer and then degauss the computer and if all that doesn't work buy a new monitor:thdown:

Also this somtimes happens with CRT monitors
when a mobile or a phone transmits a signal its a phenominon welll on my comp anyway

He fixed the problem allready....
