Noob help on implementing the prewritten scripts to map

Hello, I'd like to know how exactly do I implement scripts correctly in a map.

I tried several script, none worked.
For example the one here : http://www.thehelper.net/forums/showthread.php?t=114751

What I did was:
1. Create a new trigger
2. Edit-> convert to custom text
3. Clear everything appeared in Trigger Functions
4. Copy and paste the mentioned script
5. Test run map

Warcraft3 just runs up like running it normally instead of running and loading to the map directly.
Saving the map somewhere and trying to create a game using the map doesn't work either.

Just what exactly did I do wrong?

Are you using NewGen? Did you name the trigger: PathofShadows? Could you provide a sample map so we can see how you are going about this?

Disregard that, re-saving it actually made it work
