Pure Damage anyone?

Can anyone please tell me how to deal pure damage?

Unit - Cause XXXX to damage XXXX, dealing XXXX damage of attack type XXXX and damage type XXXX

This line doesn't seem to have a pure damage option... other threads (really old ones) said that

Unit - Cause XXXX to damage XXXX, dealing XXXX damage of attack type chaos and damage type fire

would work, but it really doesn't.. anyone know how to deal the said PURE* damage? I have a skill that is supposed to deal pure damage but the only problem is I don't know how to deal this kind of damage... can anyone help me?

*damage that doesn't get reduced by armor, isn't blocked by spells (hardened skin, defend) and works like setting the life of a unit.

Try Universal or Acid.
