Googled for a while but haven't found any definitive answer so I'll give it a shot here.
I am writing something. A short story if you may. And I have come across a point where it involves deer hunting. This may not be the best forum but hopefully there are some people here who are into hunting/know people who does or unlike me have some kind of general idea of how it "works". I really don't have anybody else to ask about these kind of things.
Let's say I am hunting with a bow. And I have made a shot that paralyzes the deer, making it fall immediate onto the ground.
1.Does that sound like a shot onto the neck?
2.Would a spine shot have the same effect?
Also read some stories about deers making this "wailing" sound before they die.
3.Would that still be "possible" when its paralyzed?
4.And if the deer is paralyzed, and you want to put it out if its' misery, would cutting its' throat be the best approach?
5.When does this wailing sound usually occur? After the shot? During the "cut"?
The deer would probably trash around, moving its' head, kicking with its' legs during the cut.
6. Would that occur even if it's paralyzed?
7. If the deer is lied down onto the ground, and you cut its' throat. Would the blood like, spray out or just stream out of its' body?
I am sorry if these the questions sound strange
