Range-Actor 'icon'

Hi there,

I gave my towers a range-actor based on the 'SiegeTankRange'
Is it possible to make the 'icon' of this range-actor smaller/bigger?

I set the 'red.dds' icon in the range actor and changed the distance to 0.1 but now a big line is arround the tower which indicate the range, so I thought, if I can make this icon smaller, it might be work

You would need to export the Assets\Textures\RadarIcon1.dds file, open it in an image editor (eg Photoshop) and reduce scale down the size of the image. Then you would need to save your new icon, import into your map, and set the UI: Icon property to your image.

The UI: Icon Arc Length property allows you to change the distance between the icons. So if you set this to 0.1, then it will place a copy of the icon every 0.1 units, which would basically result in a solid line.

the problem is that I can't open this files in photoshop, also the link link I tried, attaches to a program I can't install for some reason

You could always try opening it in GIMP(free software) and use the GIMP dds plugin.

well I just created an 'integer' in the 'about-config' to stop this damn plugin popups
