Static noise when using the editor and in-game

Not sure where to post this...

I was wondering if I'm the only one who has an annoying "static noise" sound whenever in the world editor or when playing a wc3 game? It's pretty low volume and it disappears whenever you click and hold mouse button 1, but then it comes back again when you release the button.
The noise is only there when the editor is in focus, if I minimize it the noise goes away.

If anyone ever had this problem and found a solution to get rid of the noise, I'd like to know how!

turn off the volume unless your in sound editor.

It might be a problem with your sound equipment, but thats a guess.

Ive never had the problem, so i dont know

I have that.
I think its my graphics card.
I just ignore it.

double click on the sound icon in the taskbar to open up the "master volume panel" then set the microphone setting to "0"

It's not from the speakers.

Did you read the thread?
