Whether you like Apple or not, he helped push out the first widely-used commercial PC to the world.

I don't own any products but I do respect the man for what he has done (like many others).

Some people are getting a little too touchy, though, IMO.

It's not a huge surprise this happened. Really! Well, he had cancer many years.

When someone random dies out of the blue, it would be considered a "huge surprise". Even more so with the status of Steve Jobs in the world.
I don't like many Apple products other than the iPhone personally, but I still see that Steve was a huge person in the technology world of our time. He made many jumps forward and advanced many things forward. He was a great many for technology, and I hope Apple will be able to keep up with what he has established over time.

Yeah but, we all know that he's been in bad shape and fighting cancer
So I can't say it came as a huge surprise at all.

HE had gone in for health issues before, this one did kind of sneak up on him, although it was expected.
Does anyone else find it iRonic that he died of PC? tehehe
