synchronized stock replenish interval

Can you synchronize the stock replenish interval on units being sold by the same type of shop owned by different players?

Order all players to buy the unit, then remove it, and add the gold lost back?

Minor note: It would be better to add the gold before all of the players buy it and then remove it. Otherwise, if someone normally doesn't have enough gold to buy it, they will get an increase in gold afterwards. (Gold doesn't go negative)
