The sun rises. I know it'll be a good day today, I can tell by the shimmering sunlight, and the clear, cerulean sky. The rainman's out this time. Usual routine starts; I eat breakfast, take a shower and put on my school uniform. I set off once more.
But this day is different. Yesterday me and my classmate Karl had an agreement about the FPS online game, Soldier Front. I wouldn't call it an agreement though, and a huge, pointless bet instead, after a nasty argument between both of us. I felt that a Clan War was imminent, and my guess was right after all. I was in shaking and nervousness and I lost my rhythm as I got to bed and slept early that night.
"Adrian, if your clan OwnageSoldiers loses, we will receive 500 Pesos from you. Likewise, when we lose, we'll give out the same thing. Let's get this darn thing settled..", he said to me. To be honest I wanted to smack up his face and give him a below-the-belt punch at that time, but I decided not to do something so stupid, or else things could get really, really worse.
In school, it's always best to pay attention, or else you'd have to pay a bigger price for it. Studying is actually fun when you immerse yourself within what you are studying. Of course, with the exception of Math classes. When I looked at my watch, it's already 2:34, and the Math teacher walks inside our classroom. But I'm really sleepy, it's because I had too much stamina lost during the lunchtime basketball game. The last thing I heard of was my math teacher lecturing on linear equations.
"Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing".
Gerald, my seatmate, woke me up, told me "Dude it's already dismissal time!". I was shocked to know that I slept for an hour! I asked him "Hey, uh, did the teacher notice that I was sleeping?"
He says "Not at all! In fact you're so lucky not bound to be caught!"
I slept the whole time, and I didn't even catch a snippet of valuable information from the lecture. Well, it can't be helped. Looks like I have to borrow my buddy's notes for a while. "Oh yeah, I forgot, crap! The Clan Wars!" I asked him, "Where's Karl and the others?"
Reluctantly he says, "Oh...well..um.. they said that they will go ahead and play in the computer shop. He promised that he'll make a reservation for you.."
"Whew.. I thought he bailed on me. I've got to go now."
"But my math notebook!?"
"Don't worry Gerald, I'll give it back to you tomorrow before math class."
Just as I thought, Karl and his gang were already inside the ~Pwn@ge!~ Computer Shop. Karl's clan, BEHINDtheGRAVE, was on the other row. Ours too, facing each other so that no one can peek at what's happening to the other clan's monitor screens. It is like any other Team Battle game at all. Oh, by the way, I use two sets of weapons, Type A and Type B.
I use a PSG-1 sniper rifle as my primary weapon and a Colt 45 Pistol as my secondary, as well as a Frag Grenade and Flashbang, for Type A, not bad. For Type B, I've equipped my Gold AK-47 and a Benelli M4 shotgun as my secondary weapon, with Frag Grenade and Smoke Grenade, not bad either. Both weapon types allow me to use an M1 battle Knife.
For this special game, I'll be using Type A, since I'm more adept at sharpshooting than at close quaters combat. We need to take advantage of everything that we have in order to win. Karl is the host, and he has chosen the Conflict server, which is almost full. He creates the room for the battle, and so we're ready and waiting.

I've had high hopes for this game. This game is yet to become the most intense I've ever played. Let's just pray that there won't be any server splits, or in-game lag. Everything is ready, we just had to wait before the loading bar completely fills up.

I was quite bored so I wrote this story that based, in part, from one of the most intense Soldier Front games I had played in years..
EDIT: I won't continue for long... the writer's block comes again..
