The main problem in having more than one post is that only the first post will be visible on WET if/when your tutorial gets approved.
Apart from that...well I don't see any problems with splitting it, we already have at least one tutorial divided into two parts because of the size.

Actually it is a World Editor Tutorial.

Your best bet is to cut it up. Put as much as allowed in one post, then the next and so on. At the bottom of each post, add a "Continued here" link.

They could (maybe) change the limit 50.000 characters longer (should be enough), and when you've posted it, they could (maybe) change it to back to the normal limit (if they want).

i haven't seen any1 who tried to spam with 100,000 words though it would be kinda funny to do that (right now i became a suspec )
