If the unit that dies has the "Reincarnation" ability, would it still trigger the actions?

im almost 100% sure no; its the same thing with item drop on death it only drop if the boss has no more ank/lives

Nope, you'll notice that when you kill a unit with reincarnation (for the first time) you won't get any XP or gold. Therefore, the unit hasn't died
