2 questions guys.
First off, you are able to set a unit's model as a spell, or buff, yesyes.
But, when set as a spell or buff, most of the time it runs through the animation loop, such as if you set it to the starfall buff, it shows the star falling, then it waits a few seconds, and the star falls again.
My question is, is there a way to set the model, so that it doesnt repeat, for example, the star from starfall would just float above the ground?
Second, many times i have seen TD's that use a spell in place of an attack, such as a shockwave tower (Tower attacks, shoots a shockwave).
I thought "Unit attacks, Cast spell"
But then wouldn't the unit not attack, and continually be ordered to cast the spell instead of attacking, and cause a fatal error?
Also, if not, is there any way of setting the units attack to how much damage the spell does, to show other players how much it does too?
So how do those work?
