What are the numerical max sizes of the variables?

I finally have figured out how to compress the save / load code. BUT, I need to know whats the max numerical size of all the variables in WC3.

So if someone knows, are they the standard WORD sized variables?

Integer?
Real?
String?

Give me almost all the variable sizes if you can... I need space to break something down to a consumable size but I need a location to work with it first.

Hmm, shouldn't they be the same max sizes as all C++ variables? And when you say "Numerical Size", do you mean in bytes or the range of numbers/letters it can be?

generally they are pretty high...i think i read somewhere that integers/reals are 10 bytes in jass (which means gui too).

Thanks for the help. I abandoned save/load code compression. It was becoming a monster.

I think if all 8 players typed save at the same time it would cause splits with the amount of stuff the host computer would have to do.

they never type it at the same time...and its not the host computer, every computer calculates for itself and then "shares" it with the host.
