You can't tell me that scripting in Galaxy is supported right now. No. Don't. You can go ask any scripter and they'll tell you the same thing. Galaxy is virtually unsupported in SC2.

You don't have a native list "whooooh" and you don't get constants highlighted "OH NOOOOO". It still allows me to script whatever I want. Opening a nativelist and setting it's state to "always in front" gives me that feature. My native list also includes constants, so if I want to check them I can just do that with my native list.

Oh, and I got no code completition... well, sucks to be me, neh?

Those are all features that CAN be included, it's nothing essential for scripting.

What I think is the following: Scripting in the editor itself is possible, scripting outside with the coding environment of your choice is possible as well (you can import .galaxy files). Everything is fine, whiners should whine (none actually gave me a good reason why scripting is "unsupported").

Dude... You just slapped yourself in the face with your argument... The very fact that you have to script OUTSIDE is fact that it's unsupported. And don't give me crap about custom script in GUI. Please. That's a joke.

As for other features, when did I say they were essential?

However, making the user have to constantly convert GUI script to Galaxy just to figure out what a native is is pretty damn cumbersome and stupid.

As I said before, Galaxy is virtually unsupported in SC2.

I myself use the custom script support the gui adds. One of my arguments was that it even allows you to import a script file (wich is pretty neat, because it allows you to use another scripting environment with the features of your choice).

Other than what? If you don't use any other features, the gui custom scripts should be enough, neh?

I exported the native list and use a search program to find stuff in it, setting it to always on top allows me to access it pretty easyly. I admid that looking stuff up in the automatically created code would be kinda lame. But scripting is for advanced users, exporting the native list (or any other library of your choice) isn't too hard.

wtf? where are your points? just saying it's unsupported isn't worth shit.

I myself will probably switch to another program as soon there is something that fits my needs better but the editor itself does not need more. Everything else would be candy for little coders.
