Well I just learned how to do attachments but I can't get mine to work. I am trying to attack the frost armor ring to the wisp. Im using the chest as attachment point and the buff frost armor target as model.
I followed the tutorial but my attachment not working.

Is it possible that you dont see attachments in world editor and wc3 must be running?

lol simple fix:

Attachments do NOT appear in the Editor

I will give you proof :p

Place the Blood Mage on your map...
Do you see the little floating spheres?

On that note, I believe EVERY unit has an ORIGIN point, which is where he is attaching the model. More sure considering it is a common unit

I have tried a lot of different things with attachment points and found that some units just don't have the necessary attachment points written into their models. A wisp is most likely one of them that doesn't work. I have also just found that it really depends on what ability you are basing the attachment points off of as to its successfulness as well as what model you are trying to attach. If someone knows a way around this I would love to hear it as well.

LOL

Like the solution to any problem, triggers

For a problem like the one you are describing you would make a trigger that makes an effect at a certain point and height of the unit. then another trigger to make sure it stays with the unit. Too much work if you as me lol
