Don't attack my dummy (can't use locust)

Is it possible to create a dummy unit that NPC's won't attack, but can have spells cast on them?

1 - Add a unit classification to the dummy unit: Decoration. No one attacks a decoration.
2 - Add a unit classification to the dummy unit: Suicidal. Make the allowed attack targets for real units Non-Suicidal

Still not working. I think i've done something wrong though...

Unit Editor
Unit classification: Suicidal
Targeted as: Decoration

Ability Editor also tried in unit editor
Targets Allowed: Non-Suicidal, etc

why dont you just add invulnerability, ethereal, or spell immunity to the unit based on what you want?

You can make a trigger to order units that are attacking them to stop I think.

Throught this :

Trigger:
  • DontAttackMyDummy
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Is attacked
    • Conditions
      • (Unit-type of (Attacked unit)) Equal to (==) YourDummyUnit
    • Actions
      • Unit - Order (Attacking unit) to Stop

that is close but it wouldnt work if he was worried about the units using orb effects/triggered attack abilities etc, its better to just not have the units to be capable of attacking the unit

Yea like GFreak said, units can still cast abilities on the dummies. Also, the units would still attempt to attack the dummies until they get right on top of the dummy. But thanks for the reply.

why dont you just add invulnerability, ethereal, or spell immunity to the unit based on what you want?

After lots of messing around Invunerable worked, thanks a lot.
