Having them as attachments is bad for use Vista users. We can look at only so many pictures before we have to log out.

Why?

Every time we (at least I) look at one of these images, the number of screens I can have open at any given time is reduced by one, even after I close the image afterwords.

I found this out the hard way; at one point I couldn't open anything, not even Task Manager...

Sounds like a serious Vista Bug. Hope they addressed it in the new Service Pack coming up. I think a beta of the Service Pack is available - you might try it to see if that gets fixed.

The idea I have is that if I have them as attachments I can write a little script that can export all the pics to another site I am thinking about starting. I am going to use all the pics I found plus the links to all the videos as the base for the content. It is like an extension of the Humor Zone forum like the WET site is for the WE Help Forums.

That actually sounds like a very good idea. It would make it much easier browsing pictures that away.

I thought about doing something similiar in TheArea, however our server isn't as big as yours (obviously) so I didn't do anything about it, I went with the ol' attaching system.

Ummm, I have a similar problem, but with XP. Although I guess it's from Internet Explorer, but it affects all the other things as well. Suddenly, IE refuses to show content of popped-up windows. And then a couple of other things start working weird as well. I have to restart the comp :nuts:.
