Going to South Korea in July

It is not actually monsoon season, but rather it is a yearly rain season. Do pack at least two, just in case one of your umbrellas starts to leak water. Sometimes it rains heavily, like a downpour, for a short while.

I am just waiting on my Passport. The Attorney General was supposed to have released travel lock but still waiting. We can check on passport like on Tuesday. Still have time not leaving until July 2.

Going to stay in a bunch of hostels in different parts of Seoul and some other places to save money. They run like 30 to 50 and the Hamilton was 75 a night. I will get my place then sight see and explore the area then go back to the place. The Hostels have shared common area so you are supposed to be able to meet people.

That would be at KPop land. For some reason I cannot book with them on the Internet like they are booked up. They have Pods there.

Well, they (those in other parts of Asia) are of poor quality. Don't get your hopes up for cheapish hostels.

I don't need a whole lot and it is just going to me and I will be only sleeping there. The only reason I am getting a private room in these places for myself is because I snore. I have respect for other people I am doing alot of research on these places and the quality of place seems to be better in Korea than what is reported other places in Asia.

Oooh... Are you able to look up why you can't go? There has to be a good reason for you to not obtain your passport.

Child Support issue I don't want to get into on these forums suffice it to say it is a long story. I will be able to get a passport just maybe not in the time span necessary for this trip.

Speaking of which, does all of this makes your daughter disqualified from the contest? Since she's 13, she may need a guardian/parent for the travel and such.
