How do you tell if a forum user is a female or a male?

Do I get plus rep for pointing out that post #19 was made by a girl? Long before the 'no girls have replied' stuff started going around.

If someone's trying to emphasize that they're a girl then it's a guy. Probably a small one that's a little confused/wants to have a friend.

You're absolutely going off the track, Varine. If I want to have a friend, I would just do it, like the Nike slogan. But, the Internet seems like a place where people get to be mature to one another, so nobody cares about genders anymore nowadays...
