We've got an Internet full of fantasy nerds here, and the best we can come up with is a couple of bows from a video game?

A'ight, try some of these on for size:

The One Ring (www.glyphweb.com/arda/o/onering.html): Do I even need to say anything?

The Rings of Power (www.glyphweb.com/arda/r/ringsofpower.html): Baby versions of the One Ring, given to the rulers of Elves, Dwarves, Men, etc. by Sauron. We don't have any descriptions of people turning invisible when they wore one of these things, but they did grant power over various archetypes like "fire", "nature", "water", "light", etc. They also tend to suck out your soul and turn you into a monster, just like the One Ring (which is what happened to the Black Riders). But the elf queen Galadriel, the elf king Elrond/Agent Smith, and (at least in the books) the wizard Gandalf are all rocking this bling, so maybe the Black Riders just weren't awesome enough to handle it.

The Silmaril Jewels (www.glyphweb.com/arda/s/silmarils.html): But even the One Ring was a toy compared to the Silmarils, the three crown jewels of Valinor. (Valinor is Tolkien's version of Heaven; it's the place where everybody sails off to at the end of the movies). He never got into specifics about what the Silmarils did, other than being really shiny, but they must have been important, because Sauron's boss Melkor came after them personally, and stole them from some fool elf. (That's right. Sauron had a boss. Think of that battle scene in the beginning of the first movie, where Sauron is wrecking an entire army single-handed, and imagine just how badass Melkor had to be...and how kickass the Simarils had to be if Melkor's going to take so much interest in them.) But by the time The Lord of the Rings rolls around, one has been destroyed in liquid-hot magma, and one has been launched into space and transformed into the planet Venus. Still, there's one left at the bottom of the sea...

The Arkenstone (www.glyphweb.com/arda/a/arkenstone.html): A big diamond, very precious -- and possibly sacred -- to the dwarves. The Arkenstone didn't really have any special powers, but they were willing to fight a war for it anyway, in The Hobbit.

The Black Arrow (www.glyphweb.com/arda/b/blackarrow.html): An arrow that never missed its target, which was used to kill a dragon in The Hobbit.

The Sword of Elendil (www.glyphweb.com/arda/s/swordofelendil.html): A.k.a. "Narsil" or "Anduril", depending on who has it. It chopped through pretty much anything, including the hand of Sauron -- which is how the One Ring was lost, so this sword really started the whole darn mess. When Aragorn gets hold of it in the movies, it is a Big Deal. Note that in the books, it also glows.

Sting (www.glyphweb.com/arda/s/sting.html): Tolkien had a thing for glowing swords, apparently. This one would shine to let you know when Evil Bad Guys were near, even when they were hidden. ("True Sight", perhaps?) Bilbo Baggins -- the crazy uncle in the movies -- gave it to the hero Frodo, along with...

The Mithril Coat (www.glyphweb.com/arda/m/mithril.html): Shiny, lightweight, and most importantly, impervious to just about anything short of Armageddon. You'll probably be tempted to have some kind of "mithril armor" upgrade for your common soldiers, just like Warcraft III and every other fantasy RPG or RTS out there. My advice: don't. It doesn't fit with the Tolkien universe, where mithril is more useful, more rare, and therefore many many times more expensive, than gold. (Remember that in the movies, and in the books too, Gandalf basically tells Frodo that this one coat is worth more money than the whole Gross National Product of hobbit-kind.)

Glamdring (www.glyphweb.com/arda/g/glamdring.html): Gandalf's sword, and a larger version of Sting.

Phial of Galadriel (www.glyphweb.com/arda/p/phialofgaladriel.html): Hey, something else that glows! Specifically, this appears to be a sort of elven flashlight, and it's also useful for blinding enemies (like giant spiders).

The Mirror of Galadriel (www.glyphweb.com/arda/m/mirrorofgaladriel.html): A bowl full of water that allowed you to see the future. I'm not really sure how this would work in Warcraft III.

The Palantiri (www.glyphweb.com/arda/p/palantiri.html): Basically, crystal balls with a "webcam" feature. If you've got a Palantir, you can talk to anyone else who has a Palantir, or see anything within their line-of-sight.

Kingsfoil (www.glyphweb.com/arda/k/kingsfoil.html): Not a manufactured object, but a wild plant. It could be used to heal various wounds and diseases...but hardly anybody knew how to use it.

There are various other magical thingamajigs in Tolkien's stories that don't seem to have an entry in the Encyclopedia of Arda. You could try looking on Wikipedia or Google for: the Horn of Gondor, elf-cloaks, elf-rope, ent-water, and lembas-bread. Balrogs use various fiery weapons, including axes, swords, whips...but they seem to be summoned directly out of the balrog itself, so I'm not sure how appropriate they would be to your game.
