This is a model that is inspired by the Warhammer Online Class Black Guard. It's basically a tank class, but instead of melee and physical abilities, it focuses more on spells to deal damage.
- It does not use any mana, but rather Hatred which it gains through taking damage. Maximum of 100 Hatred, and gains 1 rage every time he takes damage. Can be increased later.
- Uses intelligence to detect spell damage.
- Strength is primarily for the health bonuses, but also decides how effective his first skill is.
Nefarius, the Black Guard
In Druchii society, few are feared quite as much as the Black Guard-- the Witch King's personal guard, answerable only to him and to Kouran, their captain. They epitomize the cold ruthlessness of the Dark Elves, trained as they are from a young age to the highest possible standards in the arts of warfare and in the use of their trademark black halberds.

The Black Guards' overwhelming hatred for all things living gives him a chance to sometimes ward off some of the damage taken. Damage mitigated is determined by his strength stat.
Absorbs XX damage on YY% of the attacks made on you.

Notes: Based on Hardened Skin (or whatever the name was) with around 50 levels or something - it depends on how much str your heroes have. Make a trigger that sets the level of your ability to str/4 every .5 seconds or something similiar.
Damage mitigation chance/amount is 1%/1.5 per 4 strength.
Feeding on Weakness
The Black Guards' pathetic opponents instills in him an even greater urge to destroy them. He lashes out, hitting every weakling in the vicinity.
Level 1: Strikes every opponent within 300 range, dealing 55-78 damage and giving him a shield that absorbs 10% of the damage done.
Level 2: Strikes every opponent within 340 range, dealing 87-110 damage and giving him a shield that absorbs 10% of the damage done.
Level 3: Strikes every opponent within 380 range, dealing 129-152 damage and giving him a shield that absorbs 10% of the damage done.
Level 4: Strikes every opponent within 420 range, dealing 161-183 damage and giving him a shield that absorbs 10% of the damage done.
Mana Cost: 25 Hatred
Cooldown: 12/11/10/9 seconds

Howl of Rage
A scream that taunts nearby enemies, forcing them to attack you and restoring Hatred for every opponent you hit. For the duration, any attacks or spells made by the Black Guard has increased effect.
Level 1: Taunts opponents within 400 range, forcing them to attack you for 3 seconds. Restores 4 Hatred for every unit hit with a maximum of 35 Hatred, and increases your damage with attacks and spells on said opponents by 10% for the duration.
Level 2: Taunts opponents within 475 range, forcing them to attack you for 4 seconds. Restores 5 Hatred for every unit hit with a maximum of 40 Hatred, and increases your damage with attacks and spells on said opponents by 15% for the duration.
Level 3: Taunts opponents within 550 range, forcing them to attack you for 5 seconds. Restores 5 Hatred for every unit hit with a maximum of 45 Hatred, and increases your damage with attacks and spells on said opponents by 20% for the duration.
Level 4: Taunts opponents within 625 range, forcing them to attack you for 6 seconds. Restores 6 Hatred for every unit hit with a maximum of 45 Hatred, and increases your damage with attacks and spells on said opponents by 25% for the duration.

Exiled
Living isolated is part of the brutal training to become a Black Guard, but is nonetheless keen since it allows him to focus and channel his energies better. This enhances the Black Guards' combat capabilities.
Level 1: Grants the Black Guard 1 Hatred every second.
Level 2: Grants the Black Guard 1 Hatred every second and increases the absorption of Feeding on Weakness by 5%.
Level 3: Grants the Black Guard 1 Hatred every second, increases the absorption of Feeding on Weakness by 10% and its damage done by 5%.
Level 4: Grants the Black Guard 2 Hatred every second, increases the absorption of Feeding on Weakness by 15% and its damage done by 10%. Also increases maximum Hatred by 10.
Dark Champions' Challenge
Sends forth a wave of dark energies that hits all enemies in front of the Black Guard, dealing massive damage. Reveling in the agony of his enemies, he regenerates lost health over 6 seconds.
Level 1: Deals damage equal to 3x of the Black Guards' intelligence to all enemies 400 range in front of him, and restores health according to 3x of his current Hatred over 6 seconds.
Level 2: Deals damage equal to 3.5x of the Black Guards' intelligence to all enemies 400 range in front of him, and restores health according to 4x of his current Hatred over 6 seconds.
Level 3: Deals damage equal to 4x of the Black Guards' intelligence to all enemies 400 range in front of him, and restores health according to 5x of his current Hatred over 6 seconds.
Mana Cost: 30 Hatred
Cooldown: 45/40/30 seconds
