How about these two:

Achilles Last Stand - Led Zeppelin
Barracuda - Heart

Heart have always acknowledged that Led Zep were a major influence on them (and as far as I'm concerned Heart's cover of Rock 'n' Roll is better than the original), so it's quite obvious why they sound similiar. Also, I prefer Heart. They're just all-round awesome.

Ahhh... I've always wondered how people do that. Still, the songs I mentioned can be heard from the start, so I don't really need to show a specific time.

Every artist started with something someone else did and made it their own. Over time, it develops in many interesting ways. Probably because everyone interprets everything different.

Here are another two that sound similiar at the beginning. The solo (at the start) does at any rate have its similarities, and they both end very close together (when you listen to them at the same time).

The rest of those aren't so noticably similiar, but they are both very good
