At wc3campaigns (or was itwc3sear.ch) they have you look at a rather abstract image with a few numbers and text in it and type in what you see to make sure it isn't a spambot or other bot auto-joining the forums.

No, it was actually posting strange news things (like stuff about baseball and NASA and other random stuff), with links to inappropriate sites at the bottom of them.

The spambot was harmless unless it was allowed to do its spamming. I did not look into it very much as it was rather easy to take care of. Suffice it to say that it is gone and you can be assured that the Administrators and Moderators work hard to make sure you guys don't have to wade through a bunch of crap posts or spam filled forum.
