I do not believe so. Terrain textures are just images and have no real impact on the game (other than looking nice). However you can manually achieve what you want by using the Pathing Layer (Shortcut H) and applying No Pathing where required.
No, the terrain is not the same way as in Wc3, they are more like painting now - you will have to use regions now.
But as you, in the SC2 editor, are able to create some pretty complex regions this should not be a problem, just a bit more time consuming
wow i love this terrain/pathing system... can you do overlays and different layers for the terrain? to come up with different effects like in photoshop.
well essentially an overaly is a picture set on top of another that fills in all of the black of the bottom picture with the top one, its just one effect in photoshop that would be awesome to use for making terrain
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them. And I'm taking that as a victory
I will be AFK for a couple of days you guys hold down the fort while I am gone. I will be checking in on my phone but that will severly limit me. Be back saturday!
